Microbiological Research Organization Nepal (MiRON)

About us

Microbiological Research Organization Nepal (MiRON) formed by some of the Master's graduate students from Central Department of Microbiology and Kathmandu College of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University in 2006. It got legally registeration in Kathmandu District Adminstration Office and Social Welfare Organization in 2008 as non government, non political, not for profit, research and soical organization. MiRON primary obecjective has been to conduct research in related field of Health and Environment and in related field of microbiology and others. Besides that MiRON other prime vision has been to conduct awareness, empowerment and training workshop in the related field.

 

Since past half decade, MiRON has been able to conduct research in Dental Caries, Toothpaste efficacy, DIarrhoel disease, Medicinal Aromatic Plants, solid waste, feather wastes, urinary tract infections and many more. MiRON doesn't only focus on conducting research but also in dessiminating the findings both in academic journals and to the experts and normal people which will help to make positive changes as per our findings.

 

Right now, MiRON has got more than 50 active member and involved in more than five research activities that are running simultaneously.
